A funeral venue for both small and large gatherings
Our venue can accommodate both. For smaller gatherings of 40 to 80 guests, the upper floor with its large windows can provide a lovely setting for your service of wake. For larger gatherings we recommend our downstairs grand hall with high ceiling and a great amount of natural sunlight, where we can accommodate up to 800 guests. No matter which is the right size for you, they both provide a beautiful view of the sea.
How do we book a funeral at Luftkastellet?
Initially the relatives contact the desired funeral agency. When speaking to your funeral agency, please notify them that you wish to have the funeral with us. The funeral agency can assist you with most of what you may need for the ceremony, such as a coffin, flowers and officiant. We can help you decorate the room, seating area and the venue, as well as arrange with suitable live music to create a beautiful ceremony.
